Our Company

Sharp Hosting was started in 1998 in order to provide basic hosting services to our web design clients (through Sharp Designs). Initially, Sharp Hosting began as a reseller of hosting services from another hosting company. Within two years, we realized that having our own servers would allow us to provide better service (and lower cost!) to our customers.

Sharp Hosting acquired some computers through a hardware and network reseller, allowing us complete and total management control over our hosting machines. We are now able to offer a greater range of services as well as provide complete troubleshooting and solution management. By having full access to the hosting machines, we can install new software, fix errors, investigate problem situations and any other necessary activities to provide the best possible hosting experience to our clients.

In 2002, Sharp Hosting began integrating a complete web-based billing system to better manage our financial picture and provide automated tools for our clients. In 2003, we added credit card processing services, allowing our clients to pay their bills via credit card.

Sharp Hosting continues to grow. We are always adding new services and improving existing services. We are expanding our hosting machine base, including adding Windows(tm)-based hosting services, custom toolsets, integrated ecommerce systems and fully-managed hosting options. What We Do

Sharp Hosting is a full-featured web hosting and domain name registration organization. We have years of experience hosting web sites of all different "shapes and sizes" for all sorts of purposes. We are NOT a reseller of someone else's hosting services. We have our own machines on a leased (and secured) facility with redundant networking. In addition to web hosting, we provide a complete array of web and computer related services. At Sharp Designs we offer web design and marketing services.
